Holmes chapel got back to winning ways on Saturday with a tough away fixture at Old Bedians.
The early part of the game was very even, Chapel opening the scoring when Dave Steer crossed after a well worked forwards move and the reliable boot of Andy Davies adding the extras.
Bedians then Struck back with a try of their own admission after an exchange of penalties it was equal at half time
Chapel came out strong in the second half firstly Callum Grant-Smith Smith crossing, then a bracelet from Alex Gormley seemed to give chapel an unassailable lead. Bedians hit back however and a tense finish was assured. It wasn't until Steer powered through the the home sides defence that the game was safe.
